Christine AnnHAVILANDPassed away peacefully at home on 19th August 2025, aged 82 years.

Devoted wife to Graham, loving mum of Julia, mother in law to Mark and grandma to Daisy. Christine will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her.

Christine's funeral service will take place on Friday 19th September, 2:00pm at St Mary's Church, Rolleston on Dove.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired are invited to benefit the British Heart Foundation. These may be given at the service or online at www.tjparryfunerals.co.uk.

Chris (then Gilbert) and I were friends from the earliest age:
Winshill Infants and Junior Schools together, followed by High School, and we even shared a birthday.
Along with other friends we ventured into youth hostelling, which
was great fun and our first experience of independence!
In later years we kept in touch, always at birthday time and by regular telephone calls.
I shall miss you, my friend, and cherish the memories - Mary.

Saddened to hear the passing of Chris. Fond memories of a colleague and friend who I worked and socialised with at the Tax Office.
Thoughts are with Chris’s family.
